Dr Stephanie Baker, the founder and director of BPS (Baker Psychology Services) has worked across the UK and Ireland with individuals, families, children, adults, in the court system (at tribunals) with Local Authorities and the NHS. Dr Baker is a Chartered Educational & Child Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She is a graduate of University College Cork (UCC), the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) and holds a Doctorate of Educational Psychology (DEd Psy) from the University of Bristol (UOB). Her doctoral research examined Children in Care and their perceptions and experiences of education. She has also conducted research in the areas of Domestic Violence and Bullying. Dr Baker continues to practice in both the UK and Ireland while developing her special interests in the areas of Mental Health and Children in Care alongside her teaching roles at the University of Bristol.
Stephanie works with Occupational Therapist Jennifer Dennehy and her team of Occupational and Speech and Language Therapists based at The Stepping Ahead Clinic. Together, they form a Multi-Disciplinary Team for the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). |
